On July 21st, the Plaza Mayor of Calpe (Costa Blanca â Alicante) will be transformed into a vibrant and energetic stage with the arrival of Kortrijk Drumt, one of the most spectacular collective percussion events in Europe.

What is Kortrijk Drumt? đ„
Kortrijk Drumt is a musical initiative born in the Belgian city of Kortrijk, where dozens of drummers gather each year to perform a synchronized percussion show in public spaces. The initiative combines music, performance, and community, creating an immersive experience for both musicians and audiences.
This July, for the first time, Kortrijk Drumt is coming to Spain, specifically to Calpe on the Costa Blanca â Alicante, to share their passion for percussion with locals and tourists.

Kortrijk Drumt was born in 2015 in the Belgian city of Kortrijk, bringing together drummers of all ages in a grand celebration of rhythm and passion. Its first edition was a milestone: 137 drummers played in unison to Bruno Marsâ âUptown Funk,â setting a record in Belgium.
