Thursday, October 3, 2024 – Opening of the Oktoberfest La Nucia 2024
The Oktoberfest in La Nucia begins with the traditional opening ceremony, which includes the “O’zapft is!” (It’s open!), where the first tap is given to the beer keg, officially marking the beginning of the party. This festive moment is accompanied by live music, toasts and a joyful atmosphere that welcomes all attendees to enjoy the Bavarian celebration. In addition, the new queen of the Beer Festival is usually presented and the queen of the previous Oktoberfest is said goodbye.

The history of the Oktoberfest organised by the CCC began in 1987 in Calpe, when a group of enthusiasts decided to bring the Bavarian tradition to the Costa Blanca. However, since 2021, the celebration has moved to La Nucia, specifically to the parking lot of the Camilo Cano Olympic Stadium, a space that has allowed the offer to be expanded and accommodated to a growing number of attendees.
